Charles E Lew (Chuck) founded Coleman Lew + Associates in 1979. Over the past 37 years and more than 375 search engagements, he has earned a national reputation within the search industry. The majority of his searches have involved placing CEOs, presidents, and general managers or their direct reports.
He serves on the board of Penrhyn International, a worldwide partnership of independent executive search firms and was elected treasurer at the group’s annual meeting in April 2016.
Chuck earned a BS from The Ohio State University and pursued graduate studies at Xavier University. Prior to founding Coleman Lew, he was general manager of an office products company and later a recruiter in the Columbus, Ohio office of a national recruitment firm. Chuck is a US Marine combat veteran who served in Vietnam. He is active in the Charlotte community and a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow. Chuck and his wife have four grown children.
Thirty-five years of competitive racquetball got Chuck three state and two regional championships, the coveted title of national semi-finalist and three rotator cuff surgeries. He’s enough of an optimist to think a switch to pickleball will yield a national championship.
