Leadership Development Case HistoriesMerger/Acquisition IntegrationAs a Leadership and Organizational Development consultant to a large integrated healthcare network, Matt Turner, Coleman Lew's Partner for Leadership Development Resources, played a key leadership role in the development of integration protocols for a series of complex mergers among competitive practices with vastly different organizational cultures. Adopting a strategic planning model to the merger integration, Turner led executive training in the successful management of complex mergers and facilitated the creation of an innovative, multi-phased integration plan that was endorsed by the Senior Executive Team of the parent companies. Turner also conducted assessments on key executive talent, designed and led new executive team building sessions, facilitated the creation of new Mission-Vision-Values systems, designed key employee retention plans, led new leader transition sessions for merged groups, and led whole system transition training sessions.
